About Our
Promotional Months:
-
March is dedicated to our Senior Pets. As our pets grow older, their needs can change. Therefore, it is vital to monitor your pet's health to prevent or treat any underlying age-related diseases and make sure they stay comfortable through their golden years.
This is for pets over 7 years of age.
Our complete senior testing program includes:
Thorough physical examination: This is the cornerstone of the senior care program. Our veterinarians carefully assess all body systems, paying close attention to any lumps, bumps, arthritis, or potential abnormalities.
Blood chemistry tests measure the levels of various substances in the blood and help diagnose diseases such as diabetes, liver, and kidney failure.
Comprehensive blood panel with complete blood count (CBC) and Hematology: This provides a detailed blood analysis, aiding in diagnosing anemia or infection.
Urinalysis: This test provides valuable information about kidney function and detects urinary tract infections. Remember to bring a urine sample from your pet when you visit us!
Eye Exam: Our veterinarians will thoroughly examine your pet's eyes for cataracts, retinal bleeding, degeneration, inflammation, or detachment.
Weight and arthritis check: We assess your pet's weight and check for signs of arthritis, ensuring their comfort and mobility.
Dental assessment: We examine your pet's dental health, as oral hygiene is vital to overall well-being.
Cardiac assessment: We monitor your pet's heart health closely, looking for irregularities or concerns.
Program Benefits:
It allows for the early detection and treatment of disease, which often gives us more effective and less costly treatment options.
Opportunity to maintain health and prevent illness during your pet’s senior years. Helps establish normal baseline values for your pet, creating a point of comparison for the future
You can have peace of mind knowing that you have provided the best care for your pet's health and well-being in its senior years.

April and August are dedicated to our pet Dental Months. Just like we go to the dentist regularly, your pets’ teeth need attention, too. Dental health is important for behavioural health and overall well-being.
In our Dental months, we offer FREE dental check examinations booked on weekdays.
This dental check with one of our expert vets will allow us to examine your pets’ teeth and gums, and if necessary, they will provide you with an estimate for a dental procedure.
With all dental procedures booked in the month, you will receive the following:
A free-of-charge pre-anaesthetic blood test. This test is performed on the morning of the surgery and checks for your pet’s kidney and liver function. We want to make sure your pet is healthy on the inside!
Discount off the total cost of your pet’s dental procedure.
A comprehensive health assessment of your pets’ teeth, gums and mouth under anaesthesia with dental charting
Your pet receives their own designated nurse throughout their stay to monitor their anaesthetic and recovery, including intravenous fluids, post-operative pain relief and antibiotics if required
Free of charge post-operative checks if extractions are required to ensure the gums are healing well

In June and July, we will dedicate ourselves to desexing and microchipping.
We are offering discounts on the cost of dog and cat sterilisations to help improve your pet's quality of life and reduce the number of unwanted pets in our community.
There are many reasons why pet owners should desex their pets. In addition to helping stop pet overpopulation, the following are some other benefits associated with desexing cats and dogs.
Health: Reduced risk of getting cancer or other diseases of the reproductive organs, such as testicular cancer, prostate cancer/disorders in males, cystic ovaries, ovarian tumours, acute uterine infections and breast cancer in females, and also other diseases like mammary cancer, perianal tumours and perianal hernias.
Females can suffer from physical and nutritional exhaustion if they continually breed.
Pets generally live longer and healthier lives.
Behavioural: Pets are less prone to wander and fight and are less likely to get lost or injured.
Reduces territorial behaviour such as spraying indoors.
Less likely to suffer from anti-social behaviours. They become more affectionate and become better companions.
Eliminates “heat” cycles in female cats and their efforts to get outside in search of a mate.
Cost: Reduces the community's cost of caring for unwanted puppies and kittens in pounds and shelters.
No additional food or vet bills for the offspring.
There is no need to find homes for unwanted or unexpected litters of puppies or kittens.
You can save money from expensive surgeries, car accidents, and fights, which are less likely to occur if your pet doesn’t roam around.
Dumping puppies and kittens is an ethical cost, as well as being illegal and inhumane.
